Shakedown

That sounds crazy!! It sounds like something that would come out of a movie like "Walking Tall" or something. I don't understand who the police think they can get away with what their doing, and I hope they don't.

School Is Almost Over!!!!

Oh Yeah!! School is almost over, I can't wait. The only bad thing about it is that I won't be able to see my friends every day. But I'll be able to see them sometimes, so its not that big of a deal. I can't wait till its over.

Swine Flu

I think that you can't change the way you live just because you think that you might get sick. I give people heck for not playing football because they think they'll get hurt, so if I don't do something because someone thinks I might get sick, I'd be a hypocrite.

Near Future

The most exciting thing that I am going to do in the near future is going to another weight lifting competition. It is on May 30 in Louisiana, Missouri. Hopefully I will be able to dominate it like I did the last one I went to in Karney, Missouri.

Worst Movie I Have Ever Seen

The worst movie I have ever seen was probably Gabriel. It was so stupid that I didn't even finish watching it. All that I remember of it is that the commercials before the movie were really dumb, so that kind of set the tone for the movie. We started it and then decided that it was so stupid that we shut it off.

Pollution Helps Plants

I think that it isn't true. I think that too much pollution won't help the plant, but will actually harm them. It may be true, but it goes against everything I've ever heard about pollution.

Football

I can't wait till football starts up again. I have been waiting since the end of football last year and I haven't been able to hit anyone it seems like forever. We are doing something for football tomorrow, but I don't think it will be a hitting practice.

Aaron Curry

Aaron Curry is a BA football player. He is the top ranked draft pick for Linebackers on CNN. He is from Wake Forest and is probably the best pick for the draft. He is a very good defensive player, and you can't go wrong with a BA defense.

Monitoring Cell Phones

I think that it is dumb that parents are reading their kids texts without them knowing. It is a good thing for using to catch sexual predators, but I don't think it is right that parents are eavesdropping on their kids.

Coon Hunting

I think I'm gonna go coon hunting pretty soon. Its not really hunting because you can't kill the coon, but you can run the dog so he doesn't get fat and lazy. It will be a good time. Last time I went with my cousin and a friend and it was freaking hilarious.

Pencasts

Pencasts sound pretty cool. From what I understand, they are a voice recorder and they let you go back to whatever sound happened at a certain time. I think it will probably help out students during notes or other people at lectures.

Phishing

Phishing sounds like something that would be a huge pain in the butt if you don't know what your doing. It seems like all you have to do to avoid it is to use common sense and don't give your passwords or anything else that is personal out. So in my opinion I would say just stick to the web sites you know are legit and don't open any emails that you don't know where there from.

Twitter Numbs Our Sense of Morality

I think that it is a bunch of crap. They say that getting information so fast is to complicated for the "moral compass". They think it will desensitize you, but I don't believe it. I don't use Twitter or anything else like it, but I don't think that it will make young teenagers forget their morals.

"Dumbest Criminal"

This is about the stupidest thing I have ever heard. This guy had to be on drugs or drunk to even think he could get away with that. The best part is that when he was asked for a comment he said "I'm smooth", like he wasn't going to get caught or charged with anything.

Twitter

I don't have any idea what Twitter is but I think that if wants to keep going, it is gonna have to start raising money. If it doesn't, then it will probably get shut down. If that happens then the 8 million users would probably be pretty upset.

Facebook Guidance Counselor

Technology is really advanced. You used to have to go to the colleges to meet the students there, but now you can just log on to Facebook and bam its there. It is amazing what you can do on the Internet.

New Chewing Gum

I think that the new biodegradable gum would be very useful. It would help keep the streets and benches clean. The only downfall of it is that it has to be dry for six weeks before it will turn into dust. Other than that I think it is a great idea and it should be put on the market.

Protesters Adopt Technology First

Protesters seem to adopt technology earlier than the government or large business's that they are protesting against do. They use it to get their message across and get more supporters. If it wasn't for technology, very few people would now about some protests and wouldn't do it.

Facebook Takes a Dive

I think that it makes sense that Facebook or Myspace can't make money. They give membership for free and they have such a wide variety of users that marketers can just target one group of people. Because of that they don't get a lot of advertisement.

Tabacco Tax Increase

I think that it is ridiculous that they are going to up the price $1.01 a pack for cigarettes, and $40.26 a cigar. I don't think it will keep anyone from smoking, it will just make them spend more money. It may slow down new smokers because they don't want to spend that much money, but I don't think it will stop them.

Conflicts

I think that friends get into conflicts because not everyone thinks exactly the same thing. Since they don't always think the same thing they will argue over it and that may cause a conflict.

Three Wheeler

I am gonna start working on my three wheelers pretty soon. First I have to check with my uncle because he has all the tools and brains. Then I have to move them to my uncle's house so we can work on it there.

Libetry's Weight Room

Liberty's weight room is terrible. They are not set up form heavy lifting at all. All they have are a bunch of machines, and then a free weight set for bench. The don't have a squat rack, and they only have one bar. The good things about it is that it has a water fountain in it, it is over twice the size of ours, and it has a leg press machine, which is freakin awesome. I can do at least 800 on it and Ozzie can do about 750.

Part Time Jobs

I think that part time jobs are a good thing for high school students. I think the help you get prepared for working after school. I don't think that it hinders education, but I do think it hinders sports.

My Favorite Game

My favorite game is football. It is really fun. There is nothing better than laying somebody out in a game or even a practice. It is the best game in the world in my opinion. You have to try it sometime, its great.

Taken

Taken is an amazing movie!! I went to town last night and watched it and it was freakin awesome. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it kinda took a little bit to get started, but once it was going, it was non-stop action. If you get a chance to see it, do it.

Weightlifting Meet

I went to a weightlifting meet Saturday in Kearny, Missouri. It was freakin sweet! There were some huge boys lifting about 600lbs. I was in the Fresh/Soph 225 division, and I won it all. I got first in bench(275), squat(405), and clean(230). I also got first place overall in my division, so it was a pretty good day. We also went out to eat at Golden Corral afterwards, which was an excellent choice.

Pledge of Allegiance

I think that the Pledge of Allegiance is a good thing, but I don't think you have to say it. I think that you can if you want to, and they shouldn't stop you. I think the same about prayer in school, do what you want, as long as it doesn't get out of hand and bother other people.

Reccession Proof Jobs

I think that anything in the medical field will be safe in 20 years because people are always going to get sick. Another safe job would probably be in the law area. people will always fight with one another, so they will always need lawyers and judges.

Time Capsule

If I had to put one thing in a time capsule that would represent my class, I would put in a yearbook. I would mark the Sophomore class so that they would now how old I was.

St.Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day is an Irish holiday. It has been celebrated in Ireland for hundreds of years. They celebrate it to honor St. Patrick and all of his work as a missionary in Ireland. St. Patrick's Day is sometimes said to be celebrated because it is the day that St. Patrick drove the all the serpents from Ireland, but most say it is on the day he died.

Gladiator

Last night I watched Gladiator. It was a freakin awesome movie. Russell Crowe's in it, and he is beast in the movie. He starts out as a general for the Roman army and kills a bunch of Saxons. Then he becomes a slave and is forced to go out into an arena and kill people. Once he starts winning he is taken into the city of Rome and becomes a gladiator. At the end of the movie he kills the Caesar, but also dies himself. This movie is awesome.

Friends

A good friend is someone who will come bail you out of jail. A best friend will be sitting next to you saying "Man we screwed up, but we sure had fun!"

Drop Outs

I think that the main reasons kids drop out is because they think the teachers are pains in the butt. Also I think that they might drop out because they think school is to hard. One more reason they might drop out is because they think they already know everything about life so they go to work instead of school.

Super Sectional Game

Last night I went to the boys super sectional basketball game in Jacksonville. It was really cool. They played in the JHS Bowl, that gym is freakin amazing. Lewistown beat West Central by around twenty points. Lewistown has a guy on their team that was 6' 9''. He was scoring lay in the whole team he was in, until he got in foul trouble. West Central has an awesome Freshman on their team. He was a beast.

Spartan Game

Last Sunday I went to the Quincy Spartans Football game. The Quincy Spartans is a semi pro eight man football team. They just joined the semi pro league last year and only lost two games. They lost last Sunday to the champions from last year and the year before, Bushnell Warriors. They have won 13 games in s row, so it was a very tough game. The score was 40 to 41, and it was that close the whole game. My uncle and cousin both play on that team, so that is how I found out about it.

Lock In

I'm going to the FFA lock in tonight. I haven't been to one of them for about two years, so it should be fun, I hope.

Music

I listen to many different kinds of music. Country, Rock, and the occasional rap song, but not very often. The reason I listen to it is because I like the sound of them.

Education

I think that some education is important. Without education you can't get a good job unless you work your but off, which isn't a completely bad thing in my opinion. I don't think that you need to go to school till your twenty to be educated but most jobs do.

Greatest Invention Ever

I think that firearms are the greatest invention ever. Millions of people use them for recreational purposes, and for self protection, so that is why I think that firearms are the greatest invention ever.

Super Hero

If I could be a super hero my name would be Big Z. My powers would be that I am super strong, and super fast. Also I would be able to fly, that would be pretty BA.

This Summer

This summer I am going to work at the hog farm everyday. I am also going to go to football practice whenever we have it. I can't wait until football starts. I will also run my coon dog over the summer to keep him in shape and make sure he still knows what a coon smells like.

Best Book I Ever Read

The best book I ever read was probably Where The Red Fern Grows. The reason it is the best is because it is about coon hunting. I love coon hunting so that is why it is my favorite.

Change Something

If I could go back in time and change something that I did from the beginning of school up to now, I probably wouldn't change anything.

My Best Friend

I don't really have a best friend. I have a bunch of friends but I don't think that one is any better than another. We all hang out together, get in trouble together, and hunt together. We are all good friends, but I don't think that one is a better friend than the others.

My Weekend

We beat Liberty!! It was a really close game and it was packed with people. After the game I went to Taco Bell and then went back to the school and partied til 7 the next morning. Then I went home, slept for an hour and went to a farm sale in Liberty. Saturday night I went to my cousins fiance's house and partied there all night, besides going to Taco Bell and the Tower. It was a fun weekend, but this coming one should be better because it is four days and five nights long.

Farm Sale

I'm going to a farm sale tomorrow with my Grandpa. We go to alot of them together. Last time it was in Liberty and I bought a Honda 200ES three wheeler. This time I'm going to check out the tools and maybe a four wheeler.

Favorite Vacation

My favorite vacation was when my family, my grandpa, and grandma all went down to Branson, Missouri for Christmas. It was fun. We went to the Dixie Stampede and stayed in this awesome cabin, it was huge. We also went to a bunch of other tourist things, but we all had a good time.

Homecoming

My favorite parts of Homecoming are the game and the parties afterwards. I don't like the dance because most of our school dances are lame. I might go, that way I can get a ride to one of the parties, but probably not.

Go Back

If I could go back in time and change one thing in my life I would not have bought the third three wheeler. It is just taking up space in my garage because I don't have time to work on it to get it running again. Also, if I wouldn't have bought it I would have been able to use the 200 dollars to fix up my other three wheelers.

Super Bowl

The Cardinals freaking lost. They almost had it at the end, you would have thought they would have been able to play good defense for the last three minutes, but I guess not. If they wouldn't have missed so many tackles, the outcome of the game would have been different. Another reason they lost was because of all their penalties. They're a professional football team, they should be more disciplined than to get about 20 penalties, that is just ridiculous.

Favorite TV Show

My favorite TV show is College Football on ESPN. The best ones are whenever Boise State is playing. Especially when its their home game because of their B.A. blue field.

My Biggest Fear

My biggest fear is mountain lions. One time when I was coon hunting, I seen one and it scared the crap out of me. I'm afraid that if I go hunt there again my dog might try to fight it and get killed, then I would be really mad instead of afraid.

Coon Light

I'm gonna buy a new coon light. My old doesn't work anymore for some reason so I'm getting a new one. I'm gonna order a new one from my Nite Lite Catalog probably after I sell mt coon hides sold. That way I actually have some money to spend.

Dinner Tonight

If I could go to dinner with anybody tonight I would go with Jessica Alba. I would go with her because she's smoking hot. Tell you the truth, I don't care what we talk about, I just want to see her in real life up and personal.

In 5 Years

On this exact day in 5 years I will probably be at work if I don't go to college. I want get a decent job so I can make enough money to buy some land and start a farm. If I go to college I will probably still be in college in 5 years.

Favorite Childhood Memory

My favorite childhood memory was when my Uncle Kevin took my coon hunting. It was awesome. That was the night we got the biggest coon I ever killed, and the second biggest he's every killed. It weighed 22 pounds. We also killed the smallest coon I've ever killed at 7 pounds. That is one of my favorite childhood memories because it has something to do with hunting.

Nicest Thing I Ever Done

The nicest thing I ever done was paying for someones food. It made me feel broke because it was the last of my money. It wasn't very fun, but I guess it was nice, so I did it because I'm a nice guy.

Rainy Day

The best thing to do on a rainy day is to go riding on three wheelers. It is awesome when you tear up a trail and send mud flying everywhere. If it hasn't rained alot then its also fun to go riding through the creek because one of my three wheelers floats, it is amazing.

If I Could Be An Animal

If I could be an animal I would be a coon dog. I love killing coons, so that is why I would want to be a coon dog. I would want to be a Plott because they are the best breed of coon dogs, in my opinion.

Favorite Cartoon

My favorite cartoon character when I was a little kid was Woody the Woodpecker because I thought he was funny. I also thought his laugh was really funny.

Be Famous

If I could be famous for something, I would want to be famous for being a professional football player. It would be really cool to come from such a small town like Payson and be a pro football player. That is what I would want to be famous for.
